We run life drawing clubs weekly across Scotland and would love to see you at one of them soon. Our sessions require no experience or advance booking. Just turn up. You don’t need to be on time. We have drawing boards to borrow and pads to buy, but you can also bring along your own materials. There’s no tuition here unless specified…
You can book tickets through Eventbrite below or pay on the door. We would recommend pre-booking for special events as these sell out regularly.
Posing Nude | Life Modelling Workshop
Maggie May’s Glasgow
(All experience levels welcome!)
The Workshop | 26th September 2017 | 17:45pm – 22pm (final 2 hours optional)
All The Young Nudes bring you a brand new teaching session in which you will learn from and work with experienced models, and then have the option to go on and pose for your first life drawing session with our regular group at Maggie Mays in Glasgow.
It’s the beginning of term, we’re feeling fresh, and we have been inundated with emails and excited faces – so many of you are keen to learn to model, which is most encouraging!
Here at ATYN we have been running life drawing clubs in Scotland for almost 10 years and have worked with a vast number of models.
Sure, anyone can do it, and there is no right or wrong pose, or body type – but we like to meet you first, and get to know you, before we can book you in to work. In this training workshop, we’ll share our experiences with you, and you’ll meet life models who have been posing for artists for a long time. We’ll share stories, ideas, hints and tips, and if you’re still keen to be a life model after all of this, you can step up and pose for our Tuesday night drawing group at Maggie Mays!
At our model training workshop, we work closely with a group of 10-20 people. Some of you will be completely brand new to modelling nude and others will be existing life models who might want to improve. The workshop provides a great opportunity to connect and share experiences and tips with other life models. Right after the workshop, you will have the opportunity to pose, with the rest of the group, for our regular life drawing club at Maggie May’s
