The Other Drawing Club • Tuesdays at House of Toad
Join us for our weekly drawing club at House Of Toad, where all are welcome! Each week we will have a different life model for you to focus on. We will also be hosting portrait evenings and still life specials, so keep an eye on the schedule.
Spaces are currently limited (up to 25), so booking is advised as we may sell out. Please bring along drawing materials if you have them. We have drawing boards you can borrow and sketch pads you can buy. We have some materials to borrow too.
This session is untutored. There will be music playing throughout.
Please note that currenly we do not have a bar or licence so please bring along a bottle of water and any snacks for the session! We are working on this and will keep you posted...
Join our weekly drawing club. Sketching for anyone and everyone. The good old fashioned way!
Our life drawing club is held at Sloans in Glasgow (the oldest pub in the city) every Monday night from 7-9pm. All welcome, beginners and professionals alike. You can come on your own, or attend in a group. We have a lot of space and rarely sell out. You’re welcome to drop-in anytime that suits you from 6.45pm onwards. Drawing starts at 7pm sharp, but pop in whenever suits - it’s very relaxed! We have 2 models in different rooms. In the first half one model will start with shorter poses (2s, 5s, 10s) and the other with longer poses (15 minutes) so you can take your pick. After the break at 8pm, the models switch rooms, and both pose for 2 x 20 minute poses.
Please BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS. We have sketchpads for sale and you can borrow drawing boards, but please bring along your own sketch pads/paper/pencils/charcoal/pens if you don’t want to purchase anything.
You can pay on the door with a card or in cash. You can also buy your ticket via Eventbrite which will earn you a queue skip, which is nice and handy on busy nights.
